Product knowledge extension

The GYXTW Central Tube Type Outdoor Optical Fiber Cable is a type of fiber optic cable specifically designed for outdoor installations. The GYXTW cable is constructed with a central loose tube design. The loose tube contains one or multiple optical fibers surrounded by water-blocking gel or tape to protect the fibers from moisture and external environmental factors. The loose tube is typically reinforced with a layer of aramid yarn or fiberglass strength members, which provide additional tensile strength and protect the fibers from excessive stretching or damage during installation and operation. To ensure water resistance, the loose tube is filled with a water-blocking compound that prevents water from penetrating and damaging the optical fibers. This feature is crucial for outdoor installations, where the cable is exposed to moisture and other environmental elements.
